Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. has provided insurance and risk management products and services to the transportation industry through Gallagher Transportation Services. Working with NICA and the insurance marketplace, Gallagher Transportation Services has put together an occupational accident policy designed exclusively for the Independent Contractors affiliated with NICA. This occupational accident policy, marketed and administered through Gallagher, provides both medical and disability benefits in the event the Independent Contractor is injured in an occupational accident. The following chart is provided for general informational purposes only. Please refer to the specific policy for all policy terms, coverages, limitations, exclusions and conditions of the policy language. | Independent Contractor Insurance Coverages | On-The-Job Accident Medical Benefit $400,000 ($250 deductible) | Temporary Total Disability Benefits are based on 75% of the Average Weekly Earnings up to a maximum of $500 per week.
