Suzanne Clark

Suzanne Clark is an Executive Search team member with Gallagher, based in Toronto. Suzanne leads not-for-profit, association, education and public sector executive search. From academic publishing to not-for-profit leadership to management consulting, Suzanne's career has a common thread of working with — and asking really good questions of — Canada's most distinguished experts, business leaders, artists and thinkers. Suzanne has led more than 120 high-profile CEO/ED/senior executive recruitment projects and is recognized in the sector for her board facilitation and consultation work with organizations across Canada and internationally. Prior to joining Gallagher, Suzanne spent six years with executive search firm Four Corners Group. Before that, she was the Executive Director of a national charity that empowers youth in urban and indigenous communities through culturally relevant arts experiences.

A linguist by training, Suzanne is particularly attuned to the ways in which language has the power to include (or exclude). She is a passionate advocate for equity, inclusion and accessibility and is a lifelong learner with a master of laws degree (LLM) from the University of Toronto, a master of arts degree in English from Western University, as well as an honours bachelor of arts degree in Linguistics from Western University and the Award of Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion from the University of British Columbia. She also is working toward her doctorate.
