Steve Housse joined Gallagher Re as Facultative Reinsurance Leader for North America in 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in property and facultative reinsurance across the U.S. and London markets. Prior to joining Gallagher Re, Steve was a Managing Director at BMS Group. Before that, he spent over seven years at Guy Carpenter, where he served as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Property FAC. Steve also held senior property broking roles with Marsh in the United States plus Brown and Brown and Miller Insurance Services in London. Throughout his career, he has specialized in the placement and management of complex property and facultative reinsurance programs for a broad range of clients globally.
