Jeff began his career in the insurance industry in 1984 with Church Mutual Insurance Company; Jeff provided oversight of a $1.8 million portfolio of commercial property and casualty business comprised primarily of religious institutions and nursing homes. During that time, he was recognized for outstanding leadership with several President’s Circle Awards.
In 1994, Jeff joined CIGNA Healthcare as a Group Sales Representative, and then in 1999, he brought the same effective leadership skills to the sales team at Kaiser Permanente Health Maintenance Organization as their Director of Sales Management. He joined the McDaniel Hazley Group, in the role of Vice President of Operations in 2001 and was there until he moved into his present position at Gallagher Benefit Services in February of 2011.
As a result of 20+ years of extensive experience in the Employee Benefits field, Jeff has developed an ability to guide and advise his clients in areas of medical, disability, dental and Life insurance. Jeff has been able to help his clients with various strategies that allow them to maintain budget goals while simultaneously offering benefit programs that are solid, effective, well understood and appreciated by their employees.
In his current role as producing consultant, Jeff is responsible for new sales and for maintaining a high level of integrity as he advises our clients on various funding arrangements and the ever-changing legislative environment. Highly conscious of what he deems to be his personal social responsibility, Jeff has served on a number of local charitable boards and gives priority time to youth mentorship. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
