He is also responsible for maximizing the region’s operating performance and achieving its financial goals, and contributes to the company's direction and as a member of the division’s Executive Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. John helps drive success by not only ensuring the execution of corporate objectives and growth of top-line and bottom-line revenue, but also enthusiastically maintaining the Gallagher culture. In addition to his region’s strong financials, hallmarks of John’s leadership include setting the region’s strategic direction, recruiting and retaining talented professionals, and developing creative solutions. Cline specializes in the design, implementation, communication and informal funding of nonqualified executive benefit programs for publically and privately held companies. He also provides extensive gap analyses comparing current executive benefit offerings to industry benchmarks. In working with clients, Cline practices a consultative approach that's process based instead of product driven, which has proven to help retain top executives and key employees. His focus on a smooth implementation and management process helps organizations enhance their succession and retention strategies.
