Leicester Tigers centre Will Wand has been voted Gallagher Player of the Month for March, winning 37.8% of the votes ahead of Northampton Saints' rising star Archie McParland (34.5%) in addition to Bath Rugby's Alfie Barbeary and Exeter Chiefs' Tom Hooper.

Wand earned Gallagher Player of the Match in Leicester's impressive victory over Gloucester Rugby in the Slater Cup at Villa Park, with a first-minute try setting the tone for a vital away win for the Tigers in Round 12.

The Slater Cup triumph marked back-to-back victories following Leicester's home win against Bristol Bears in Round 11, where the 24-year-old put in an equally impressive performance in what may prove to be a decisive win in the play-off race.

Nick Harris, CEO of Gallagher's insurance broking business which supports companies across the UK and Ireland, said: "March's Gallagher Player of the Month was a closely fought competition and Will is a well-deserved winner, and it is clear to see that he is enjoying a real breakthrough season at the Tigers. We are two thirds of the way through the season and its still all to play for. We wish all the teams and players the very best of the luck for the remainder of the season."

The shortlist was voted for by a panel of media professionals.

The judges for the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season are: Jill Douglas (ITV, BBC), Ali Eykyn (TNT Sports), Hugh Godwin (The i Paper), Chris Jones (BBC), Alex Lowe (The Times), Ugo Monye (BBC, TNT Sports), Nick Mullins (TNT Sports), Charles Richardson (Telegraph), and Claire Thomas (BBC, TNT Sports).
