Association of Ophthalmologists Specialist Indemnity Scheme Limited (AOOSIS) is a membership organisation for UK ophthalmologists practising in the NHS and independent sectors. Gallagher is the appointed broker to AOOSIS, giving their members the option to access the tailored professional indemnity insurance products we can offer. The Gallagher team includes specialist in-house brokers and experienced medico-legal advisers.

The Clinical Board of AOOSIS is made up of practising ophthalmologists, and from our collaboration with AOOSIS we receive valuable input from the board to inform us of the changing risks in the sector. This insight means we can work with insurers to ensure the policies to offer to AOOSIS members continue to meet the needs of ophthalmologists.
