What is Sourcewell?

Sourcewell is a national purchasing cooperative that procures business contracts for its participating agencies to leverage and implement. As a legal authority (under M.S. 123A.21), Sourcewell establishes contracts that satisfy the solicitation process for public sector customers. As a result, participating agencies no longer need to bid for Sourcewell-validated services.

All government, education and nonprofit entities are eligible to register with Sourcewell as a participating agency. Entities registered as a participating agency can leverage Sourcewell contracts, as Sourcewell has the legal authority to establish contracts for their members.

Sourcewell satisfies your competitive solicitation requirements — it doesn't skip them. Sourcewell competitively solicits contracts from suppliers that chose to participate in the rigorous request for proposal (RFP) process. Sourcewell reviews the RFP responses and awards the contract to the top firms.

Awarded suppliers can work directly with participating agencies.
