Working with NICA and the insurance marketplace, Gallagher’s Transportation Practice has put together an occupational accident policy designed exclusively for the Independent Contractors affiliated with NICA. This occupational accident policy, marketed and administered through Gallagher, provides both medical and disability benefits in the event the Independent Contractor is injured in an occupational accident.

  • On-The-Job Accident Medical Benefit $150,000 ($250 deductible)
  • Temporary Total Disability Benefits are based on 75% of the Average Weekly Earnings up to a maximum of $500 per week. Average weekly earnings are calculated as 75% of the Gross Weekly Earnings.
