Mathieu Blais
Eastern Practice Leader, Leadership Assessment and Development
Mathieu Blais leads the Leadership Assessment and Development team as the Eastern practice leader in Canada for Gallagher, and holds a doctorate in organizational psychology from the Université de Sherbrooke. He is a member of the Ordre des Psychologues in Quebec and is recognized for his expertise in psychometrics and management competencies development. He's been a consultant for more than ten years, working with organizational clients of all sizes and industries.
Mathieu regularly conducts potential assessment mandates for executives, first- and middle-level managers, professionals and students, as part of personnel selection, succession planning, leadership development and career management processes. He provides personalized and relevant coaching to individuals who wish to develop themselves to achieve their career potential.
As an organizational development consultant, Mathieu leads various initiatives aimed at defining and developing leadership competencies, such as leadership development programs, succession management initiatives and organizational diagnosis.
His keen interest is in group dynamics, the realization and use of the full potential of each team member, as well as psychological health and safety in the workplace has led him to conduct interventions aimed at improving team effectiveness.
