6.5.1 Cover

Non-negligent cover helps protect the employer from liability claims for damage to neighbouring property caused by specific events during contract works. This includes collapse, subsidence, heave, vibration, weakening or removal of support, and lowering of ground water. Coverage should also include damage to the employer's own property not part of the contract works and completed parts already handed over.
