
Gallagher today announced the appointment of David Rush as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Arthur J Gallagher Holdings (UK) Limited.
David brings extensive experience in financial services having spent nearly 40 years at Deloitte in Australia and the UK where he was a Partner, a member of the Global Insurance Executive team and Head of EMEA Insurance. He served as lead audit partner for many of Deloitte's larger and listed insurance client relationships. David also supported many clients with due diligence on mergers and acquisition transactions in the sector and in the identification and resolution of regulatory, accounting, and internal control issues.
He has invested in and served on the Boards of start-up ventures innovating in health, renewable energy and recycled resources. He is currently the Chairman of WeAre.xyz, an AI powered online collaborative archive builder.
As part of his role at Gallagher, David will become the Chair of the Audit Committee (subject to regulatory approval) replacing Jamie Drummond-Smith, who will be standing down as a Non-Executive Director in February 2026, having served 12 years with the business.
