Clare brings extensive financial sector experience and her most recent executive role was as CEO of Standard Chartered in the UK, Regional Head of Europe and Global Head of Investors/Insurance. Prior to this she worked at Lloyds Bank for over 10 years including as Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking, Global Head of International and Global Head for Corporates. She also spent 17 years at HSBC where she held senior roles in IT transformation, markets and risk. Clare currently has a number of non-executive roles including Bank of America (MLI), Baille Gifford and CMC.
As part of her role at Gallagher, Clare will become the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nominations, Audit and Risk Committees.
