The annual Airmic conference brings together members for a three-day event, with the agenda being filled by CPD accredited sessions, workshops and seminars on key industry issues and insights.
We are excited to have insightful conversations with the risk management community around the theme of this year’s event – Another World is Possible - and how our solutions can help to ensure businesses are resilient in the fast-changing world.
We have a fantastic team of specialists attending Airmic this year. You will be able to meet us on our stand which is number 52 and listen to insights from some of our fantastic speakers throughout the event.
On the morning of Tuesday 10 June at 11am our global head of cyber risk management, Johnty Mongan, is speaking at the technology plenary session providing insights into cyber risks and how firms can manage them effectively. Johnty will be joined by other speakers from Insurtech UK, QBE and Riskonnect. The session which will be moderated by the fantastic Clive Myrie and is set to provide highly useful insights so come along to hear them discuss this major issue for businesses in the UK.
At 12.30pm on the same day, our head of crisis management consulting, Adam Carrier, along with George Dagnall, CEO of HotSpot will be hosting an interactive session which will highlight at how firms can plan for the future in a world of change. They will take attendees forward to 2029 and discuss what the world could look like from a political and crisis management viewpoint and what this means for risk managers.
On Wednesday 11 June at 9.45am our executive director, Dominic Lion, starts the day speaking about sustainable building materials in a panel session focused on the growing shift towards more sustainable, lower-carbon construction materials and methods. Other speakers include QBE, Lignum and Landsec.
Finally at 12.30pm on the same day, Jill Douglas, broadcaster and Gallagher ambassador will host the Road to Relevance session with speakers from CNA Hardy, Swiss Re, Zurich and ABF.
