Gallagher is advancing its Nordic growth strategy with the appointment of Morten Aaserud as head of Large and Complex Risk in Norway. This recruitment marks the launch of a new P&C practice in Norway, contributing to the strengthening of Gallagher's position in the Nordic insurance market.

Morten Aaserud brings nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, having held senior roles across construction risk, property and casualty, financial lines, as well as marine and energy insurance. He holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Oslo and has also gained significant expertise through legal and leadership roles within the energy and marine sectors.

In his new role, Morten will lead the development of a local team in Norway, foster collaboration with colleagues across the Nordics and Europe, and drive growth within in new client segments, with primary focus on large and complex organisations. Gallagher already holds a strong position in marine and energy insurance in Norway. By introducing leading risk and insurance expertise across a wider range of industries, Gallagher is now able to offer a more comprehensive range of solutions tailored to the needs of Norwegian businesses.
