Northampton Saints winger Edoardo Todaro was voted as October's Gallagher Player of the Month, winning 32% of the public poll ahead of Exeter Chiefs duo Henry Slade and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Bath Rugby flanker Guy Pepper in a closely run contest.

Saints made an unbeaten start to the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season with the Italian winger scoring four tries in October to leave the Champions Cup finalists top of the table after the opening five rounds.

In addition to being among the leader in try-scoring, the 19-year-old is also among the top players for defenders beaten, line breaks and metres made. The academy graduate's breakthrough start to the season has also seen the Saints flyer earn international recognition for Italy recently making his debut against Chile during the Quilter Nations Series.

Nick Harris, CEO of Gallagher's insurance broking business which supports companies across the UK and Ireland said: "This is a well-deserved award for Todaro, who although early on in his career is hugely versatile being able to cover multiple positions, and has great poise on the ball. I'd challenge any team to not want a player of his attitude and work ethic on their team so we are thrilled to see him win in October player of the month for the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season."

The shortlist was voted for by a panel of media professionals. The judges for the 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season are: Jill Douglas (ITV, BBC), Ali Eykyn (TNT Sports), Hugh Godwin (The i Paper), Chris Jones (BBC), Alex Lowe (The Times), Ugo Monye (BBC, TNT Sports), Nick Mullins (TNT Sports), Charles Richardson (Telegraph), and Claire Thomas (BBC, TNT Sports).
