Alistair Lester is CEO of Gallagher’s Private Equity and M&A client practice leading our teams in the UK, Europe and Middle East. The practice offers a comprehensive suite of services and solutions to businesses of all sizes engaged in acquisitions, mergers, and other transactions including tax, warranty & indemnity, litigation, structured credit, pre-M&A due diligence and post deal / portfolio services. Prior to joining Gallagher in August 2025, Alistair worked at Aon for eight years, most recently as global co-CEO of M&A and transactional solutions. He has nearly 30 years of industry experience having also worked at WTW and has extensive experience of M&A and post deal value creation for both corporate clients as well as private equity and other alternative asset managers.
