David Rush

David Rush is as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Arthur J Gallagher Holdings (UK) Limited.

David has extensive experience in financial services having spent nearly 40 years at Deloitte in Australia and the UK where he was a Partner, a member of the Global Insurance Executive team and Head of EMEA Insurance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Australia and England & Wales and served as lead audit partner for many of Deloitte’s larger and listed insurance client relationships. David also supported many clients with due diligence on mergers and acquisition transactions in the sector and in the identification and resolution of regulatory, accounting, and internal control issues.

He has invested in and served on the Boards of start-up ventures innovating in health, renewable energy and recycled resources. He is currently the Chairman of WeAre.xyz, an AI powered online collaborative archive builder.
