Sarah Lyons

Sarah Lyons is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gallagher Specialty, a division of the global broker dedicated to managing complex risks for large businesses. Headquartered in London, Gallagher Specialty operates from 15 countries worldwide, providing tailored solutions to meet the individual risk and insurance needs of clients.

Sarah began her career at HBOS, where she spent over a decade, prior to joining Giles Insurance Brokers in 2007, initially as Operations Director, before advancing to the role of Managing Director.

Her journey with Gallagher started in 2014 when the company acquired OAMPS. Since then, Sarah has held several senior leadership positions within Gallagher's Australian operations, including Chief Operating Officer and CEO of Australia. In 2023, her responsibilities expanded to include the Asia region, reflecting Gallagher's strategic growth within the Asia-Pacific market.

In July 2025, Sarah moved to her current role as CEO of Gallagher Specialty, where she leads 1,300 + colleagues.
