Building confidence through relationships

For Sarah Alexander, great client service begins with listening. Having spent more than 25 years across both personal injury claims and insurance broking, Sarah has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of understanding each client's unique circumstances before recommending a solution.

Since joining Gallagher's Queensland Corporate team, she's continued bringing that philosophy to clients across education, healthcare, aged care, manufacturing, retail and the not-for-profit sector.

"I've always believed that the strongest client relationships are built on trust, communication and consistency," Sarah says. "Every organisation is different, so it's important to understand their goals before talking about insurance."

Sarah's career has provided experience from both sides of the industry, including time in personal injury claims and a secondment within the education sector that gave her valuable insight into risk management from a client's perspective.

Those experiences continue to shape the advice she provides today. "What I enjoy most is helping clients feel confident they've got someone in their corner who understands their business and is looking ahead on their behalf."

Joining Gallagher was a natural next step. "Gallagher has a strong reputation for putting clients first and investing in its people. That really resonated with me, and I'm excited to be part of a team that shares those values."

As the insurance landscape becomes increasingly complex, Sarah believes relationships remain one of the industry's greatest strengths. "Technology gives us more information than ever before, but conversations still matter. Understanding people will always be at the heart of delivering good advice."
