The Gallagher Leadership Academy's Manager Essentials Program equips new and emerging leaders with the skills, mindset and tools they need to lead effectively from day one. Through a highly interactive, cohort-based experience, participants learn how to:

CURRICULUM DETAILS

Facilitators

Nancy Maurer brings nearly three decades of helping leaders reach their goals and aspirations to the Gallagher Leadership Academy program, including extensive experience developing and facilitating skills-based learning for first-time, emerging and mid-level leaders. She's worked with leaders across an array of company sizes, cultures and industries as a consultant and coach. Nancy holds an MBA in executive management from Ashland University and is an Everything DiSC® and Vitalsmarts Influencer certified facilitator.

Chris Dotson is a leadership coach and organizational development practitioner who helps organizations build leadership infrastructure that lasts beyond a single program. With 20+ years of experience across healthcare, hospitality, higher education, nonprofits, and professional services, he partners with teams to design development from the inside out — co-creating systems, language, and practices that stick. A Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach with an MS in HR and Organizational Development from Eastern Michigan University, Chris brings a facilitation style grounded in the belief that the process is the product.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations received 14 or more days before the program start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the start date are non‑refundable; however, a program credit may be applied to a future open enrollment session within 12 months.

Completion criteria

Gallagher Leadership Academy participants receive a completion credential per the following criteria:

  • Attend at least nine of the live sessions.
  • Complete all assessments.
  • Complete pre/post survey.
