Our History

Our story began in 1927 with a desire to find a better way of doing business and the entrepreneurial courage to be different. We didn’t just want to be another insurance brokerage; instead, we wanted to help people solve problems in an authentic and above all, ethical, way. Since 1927, Gallagher has led with integrity, ethics and purpose — consistently recognized by organizations such as JD Powers & Associates, Forbes, Fortune 500, Ethisphere and the Human Rights Campaign.
