London/Madrid, 16 September 2026: Gallagher, the global insurance broking and risk management company, has announced the appointment of Manuel Gómez González to its global multidisciplinary Private Equity and M&A practice (PEMA), as Director of Warranty & Indemnity (W&I), Transaction Solutions, Iberia to further expand the practice's European presence.
Manuel's appointment highlights the continued focus by the PEMA practice on building out deep-seated client-focused expertise across the M&A solutions and wider capital advisory space, expanding its geographic footprint to stay close to client communities and strengthening regional resource. Based in Madrid, with an Iberia-wide remit, Manuel will report into Cristina Chaparro Vaquero, Executive Director of PEMA in Iberia.
Manuel brings more than a decade of experience advising corporates and PE funds on complex, high-value M&A transactions across Europe, having worked in tandem with W&I insurance solutions and over the full deal lifecycle including due diligence, structuring and negotiation of purchase agreements. With a background as a corporate and M&A lawyer, Manuel joins from international law firm Squire Patton Boggs where he was Senior M&A Associate, prior to which he spent eight years at legal and tax services firm Garrigues as a Corporate M&A Senior Associate.
