Gillian Hood
Risk and Governance Director
Gillian Hood is the Risk & Governance Director for Gallagher’s UK Benefits & HR Consulting division (GBS). Gillian is responsible for setting and overseeing the frameworks for enterprise risk management, compliance (in relation to regulatory obligations) and governance across the business. She is also responsible for the data privacy and commercial legal teams within the UK, in addition to supporting the Buck integration project management function.
Gillian joined Gallagher in February 2021. Gillian has over 30 years’ experience across many sectors, including financial services, Big 4 consulting firms, corporates and local and national government, where she held various senior roles in enterprise risk management, audit and assurance and governance.
Gillian is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA) and a fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA).
