Kate Hulme-Vickerstaff is the Chief Operating Officer of Gallagher's UK Benefits & HR Consulting division (GBS). As COO, Kate is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight across core business operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, strong governance and the successful execution of the firm's operational and strategic priorities.
With extensive experience in operational leadership, risk management, compliance and client service delivery, Kate works closely with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement, support growth and enhance client outcomes. As a Scheme Actuary, Kate has a deep understanding of the challenges facing clients. This combination of operational leadership and hands-on client experience enables her to help shape services that deliver client-focused solutions.
Kate joined GBS in December 2025 as part of Gallagher's acquisition of First Actuarial, where she was a Partner and a member of the Management Board.
