Don’t worry about how to progress your claim
After an incident, it can be stressful and time-consuming to deal with disruption to your business. You don’t want to be worrying about how to present and progress your claim.
That’s where our Business Assist loss preparation and presentation and loss recovery service can step in. As one of the world’s largest insurance brokers, we have the knowledge, experience and insurer relationships to provide a stronger chance of a successful claim outcome.
Business Assist can help you resolve claims for business interruption and material damage as quickly and efficiently as possible. Until you’re back up and running again, you risk losing business and defaulting on contracts.
What does Business Assist offer?
We offer immediate advice after the incident, including site visits if appropriate, plus advice about your options and entitlements under your policy. We may attend insurer/loss adjuster meetings, and you could benefit from specialist help on valuing, presenting and progressing your claim as well as the supporting evidence you should provide.
We can advise on how to avoid breaching your claims-related policy conditions, and steering around common pitfalls and obstacles. We might negotiate interim payments on your behalf, and/or challenge insurers about interpretations which would limit/reduce your cover.
Who will manage your claims?
Business Assist is provided by our in-house team of loss controllers, each with over 20 years’ claims experience and spread across the UK to locally manage your claim. They are all qualified members of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters; their expertise is therefore widely recognised by insurers, underwriters and their loss adjusters.
What kind of claims are covered?
Once purchased, Business Assist claims management service applies to all claims of business interruption or material damage which exceeds £10,000 or which are particularly complex.
