What does our plant hire insurance cover?

CPA Hire Cover Plus allows you to place a loss or damage waiver so that customers who have no insurance can hire you knowing that you will cover loss or damage yourselves. It includes excavators, diggers and dumpers (and all other types of plant and machinery that can be hired out under CPA model conditions), forklift trucks (and attachments hired out), agricultural plant and machinery, lifting and lighting equipment.

Why do you need plant hire insurance?

Once you hire out a piece of machinery, the leasing company become responsible for it. If, while it’s in their possession, it becomes damaged or stolen, it would be their legal requirement to replace or fix it. If they were not in a position to do so, you could face either losing the plant or having to cover the costs yourself. Taking out construction plant insurance will mean you are protecting yourself against such risks.

What are the advantages of our construction equipment insurance?

CPA Hire Cover Plus requires no upfront premium, instead you only pay once the hire is made. This type of cover can not only attract more business, it can also increase your revenue, making CPA Hire Cover Plus more than just an insurance package; instead it can be a powerful business tool. We will provide all the wording and, on top of that, this product includes tool hire up to £100,000 for any one item and up to £200,000 for any one claim.

We can also offer plant hire insurance solutions including liability for loss of or damage to plant hired-in for re-hire, continuing hire charges and own-plant insurance solutions, loss of or damage to owned or loaned plant and loss of hire charges receivable.
