Domenico DAlessandro

Domenico has been consulting in the Human Resources field for over 24 years. Prior to joining Gallagher, Domenico was the director of Compensation Policy and Governance at Manulife Financial, and held analytical and senior consulting roles with large global human capital consultancies.

Domenico has strong experience assisting clients from various industries with their compensation strategy, program design and administration needs. Domenico's primary areas of expertise include:

  • Research, implementation, and maintenance of sound corporate governance practices
  • Design of incentive programs
  • Management and coordination of complex competitive market compensation reviews for executives and Board of Directors
  • Compensation policy
  • Development of job measurement methodologies
  • Facilitation of job measurement sessions

As a Senior Consultant, Domenico focuses on working with client senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities to improve and prepare organizations for future growth and stability in the area of human capital.

Domenico holds a bachelor of arts degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in Honours Business Administration.

Domenico has spoken at Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) conferences, Canadian WorldatWork conferences and Computershare's client conference. He has been a co-lecturer for Federated Press executive compensation courses and the executive compensation course for the GTA Rewards Association. Domenico also has been published in Workspan Magazine.

Domenico is a past president of the GTA Rewards Association, having served on its Board of Directors for more than 12 years holding the positions of treasurer, vice president of membership, vice president of strategic initiatives and director.
