Human Resources Advisor
Steven Dinnes is a Human Resources Advisor with Gallagher Benefits Services and holds an honours bachelor of commerce degree from Laurentian University. After graduating from university, he completed the post-graduate Human Resources Management program at Cambrian College, where he graduated with a GPA of 4.0. Immediately following graduation, Steven earned the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
Steven has work experience providing consulting services to clients in a wide variety of industries. Some of his accomplishments include:
- The provision of advice and guidance to employers on complex disciplinary issues, terminations, WSIB-related matters, attendance management, performance management, salary administration, recruitment and selection, and more.
- Representing many employers in labour relations matters (mediations, grievance management, labour management meetings, workplace investigations, etc.).
- Development of job descriptions, including managing the job analysis process.
- Developed Human Resources Policies and Procedures and Employee Handbooks for a variety of private and broader public sector employers.
