With 18 years of experience in the human resources consulting industry, Susan has developed a specialized knowledge of compensation principles and best practices to assist clients in the development and implementation of compensation systems. She has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors, covering both non-union/management and unionized employee groups.
Susan has a strong foundation of analytical and technical skills through her extensive work experience on comprehensive compensation projects that involve job evaluation, pay equity, market review, pay structure development and implementation, and workforce evaluation.
She specializes in pay equity (Ontario, Quebec, and Federal), and her in-depth knowledge of the legislative requirements has helped many clients achieve and maintain compliance with the legislations.
She leads in the data management and analysis of compensation projects, regularly working with large datasets to develop data-driven compensation structures that are both internally and externally competitive, with alignment to organizational strategy and objectives.
Susan holds an honours bachelor of science degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Toronto. She also has the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation with the WorldatWork Association.
