Whitney Shaw

Whitney Shaw has over 15 years of experience advising organizations on their talent and processes to create environments where people grow and thrive. Before joining Gallagher, she held multiple executive roles within the construction, oil and gas, and software consulting industries. Whitney's differentiator is her focus on people and their roles within an organization.

Whitney's approach focuses on integration and creating successful transitions. She has extensive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience, and Whitney understands how change can impact each person differently, and she applies this toward both organizational and individual change strategies. Combined with her passion for team effectiveness and leadership development, she creates environments where individuals can grow and flourish using a dedicated and strategic approach.

Whitney's most profound personal and professional experiences resulted from receiving executive coaching and being part of a peer advisory group early on in her executive career. This experience led her to becoming a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through Royal Roads University. She also holds the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) designation from the ICF (International Coaching Federation).

Whiney is a big believer in supporting her community. She is currently the vice chair, Board of Directors for the Norwood Child & Family Resource Centre and also sits on the Board of Directors for FEMCo.
