Jack-Nightingale

Jack Nightingale is Vice President of the healthcare practice of Research & Insights, part of Gallagher's Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice. Jack provides consulting services to healthcare clients in market research, strategy development and marketing communications. He helps leading healthcare delivery systems and other healthcare stakeholders to develop and implement innovative market strategies that deliver value to employers.

Jack has specialized in business strategy and innovation for over 25 years. After launching his career as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, he served in leadership roles in strategy and business development for Honeywell and Monsanto. He moved into the healthcare field in 2000 when he became President of a start-up company that developed and licensed technologies for antiviral drug development. He returned to consulting in 2004 and joined Benfield in 2009, which later became part of Gallagher, where he has contributed to the firm's thought leadership related to healthcare transformation.

Jack co-authored the 2011 book, Bridging the Value Gap: Collaborating Along the Health Care Supply Chain to Improve Health and Control Costs, One Community at a Time. In 2013, he was the lead author for a GE Healthymagination publication, "Building Better Healthcare in Cincinnati: How Employers are Collaborating with Other Healthcare Stakeholders to Improve Health and Reduce Costs in the Queen City." More recently, he has led a joint research project with the American Medical Group Foundation to study emerging trends in collaboration between employers and provider organizations.

Jack holds a B.A. from Harvard and an M.P.A. from Princeton in Economics and Public Policy.
