John Allison

John Allison is a Principal Consultant with the Total Compensation and Rewards service line of the Gallagher Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice. Mr. Allison advises boards, compensation committees, and senior management in the assessment, development, and implementation of executive and staff total compensation programs, including salary structures, annual and long-term incentive programs, retention programs, retirement programs, and other benefits.

Mr. Allison has over 15 years of experience helping internal and external clients achieve their total rewards objectives. In addition to his more than 12 years of experience with Total Compensation and Rewards, Mr. Allison has also worked as a consultant for Grant Thornton, the fifth largest global accounting and advisory firm, advising on executive, staff, and physician compensation for public, private, and not-for-profit organizations and as an internal compensation consultant for RSM, the sixth largest global accounting and advisory firm. Mr. Allison is a Certified Compensation Professional and a member of World at Work.

Mr. Allison received an MBA in finance and strategic management and a BS degree in finance, both from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
