Multitasking (doing more than one thing at the same time) is actually encouraged in some situations, but driving isn’t one of them. A study done by Virginia Tech revealed 80% of crashes involved some type of distraction or drowsiness three seconds prior to a crash. Professional Drivers deal with distracted drivers every day, but how many times are they driving while distracted? Anything that interferes with concentration needs to be eliminated while driving. Driving requires 100% of attention, 100% of the time.
