Cody Bengtson is a Senior Consultant with Gallagher's HR Consulting Practice.
Since starting his career, Cody has gained a wealth of experience in the human resources functions. He has become a subject-matter expert in domains such as full-cycle recruiting, employment assessments, payroll and benefits, employee relations, performance appraisal systems, training, and organizational development. One of Cody's core tenets is that he will always use an analytical approach to address a business' problems and choose the best solution based on recent or innovative research.
Prior to joining the team at Gallagher, Cody worked in small- to medium-sized manufacturing firms providing the full range of human resources support. He has served as the acting HR Manager and worked closely with C-Suite Executives to best understand the business needs. In his tenure at his prior employers, he worked closely with continuous improvement engineers focusing on process changes. Cody believes that one of the best ways to make improvements and move companies forward is understanding and influencing key behaviors of personnel.
Cody holds a Master's of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Master's of Business Administration from Elmhurst College. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Elmhurst College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Philosophy, and a minor in Intercultural Studies.
Cody earned a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma issued from GoLeanSixSigma.
