Tony DaSilva

Tony DaSilva is a Managing Director of the Total Rewards & Compensation service line with Gallagher’s Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice.

As a leader and expert resource in the field of compensation and total rewards, Tony works closely with public, private and not-for-profit company and institution compensation committees and management on issues related to executive and board compensation. He is an authority on the assessment of competitive pay levels for managers and directors, and the design, implementation and tax rules that apply to executive and director pay programs. He also brings deep experience in working through the unique compensation issues that arise in mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs.

With a background that includes more than 25 years of experience in compensation consulting, Tony has advised countless organizations across multiple industries on a wide range of subjects affecting executive pay and rewards. He held various leadership positions and was a partner at the world’s largest global accounting firms before joining Gallagher. Tony has authored numerous articles on compensation practices and is a frequent commentator on the changing regulatory landscape effecting executive compensation. Tony has also served as an expert witness in cases related to executive compensation.

Tony holds an LL.M in taxation from Boston University and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is also an active member in the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and a variety of industry affiliated trade organizations
