Keith Bates
Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon
Keith Bates trained in Ophthalmology in Oxford and at Moorfields and was a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in the NHS for 28 years.
He has published widely on corneal, cataract and refractive surgical topics and given lectures and presented papers at the major ophthalmic meetings in Europe and USA.
He now runs a busy medicolegal practice and is an ophthalmic advisor to a leading Private Medical Insurer and the GMC. He has been a board member of AOOSIS since 2013 and Chairman since 2017.
