Richard Packard
Self-employed ophthalmologist
Richard Packard was senior consultant at Arnott Eye Associates. He was consultant surgeon at the Prince Charles Eye Unit in Windsor from 1982-2016.
He has taught cataract surgery in over 60 countries and developed instruments and IOLs. He has been in private practice since 1981 in London and Berkshire.
He was chairman of the Association of Ophthalmologists from 2007-2011. He was the founding member of AOOSIS and first chairman in 2012. He is now AOOSIS president and chairman of FIPO.
