London,

Gallagher has once again been recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies —and remains the only insurance broker to receive this accolade.
Worlds most ethical companies 2018

Today’s announcement from the independent Ethisphere Institute represents the seventh consecutive year that Gallagher has been awarded the distinction, underlining as it does the company’s commitment to operating with integrity by embracing and embedding ethical business standards and practices.

Measuring and improving culture, leading authentically and committing to transparency, diversity and inclusion were all priorities for the 135 honorees named today, spread across 24 countries and 57 industries.

On receiving the news, Gallagher Chairman, President and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher Jr, said operating with integrity has always been a “critical component of the Gallagher culture” with the company “committed to maintaining the highest standards of moral and ethical behaviour” since it was founded by his grandfather in 1927.

Grahame Chilton, CEO of Arthur J. Gallagher International, added: “Doing the right thing and delivering the best outcomes for our customers and colleagues is what drives our business day in day out. That makes us especially proud to be named one of the world’s most ethical companies, recognising as it does our culture of integrity and accountability. Strong ethics makes for strong business performance, and we know our customers value this just as much as we do.”
