Ian Dimpsey joins from Towergate Insurance Brokers, where he was Account Director in the broker’s Poole office. With 30 years’ industry experience, Ian is responsible for attracting new clients locally.
Gallagher’s Poole office, based on Cabot Lane, employs 18 risk management and insurance specialists, looking after a wide range of businesses, from SMEs through to large corporates, with specialisms including manufacturing, retail, technology and engineering.
Gallagher has a presence in Hampshire and Dorset through its offices in Poole, Bournemouth and Southampton which form part of its UK-wide branch network.
Commenting on his appointment, Ian said: “Poole is home to a vibrant and diverse business community, and with good progress being made to deliver the town’s centre’s ambitious regeneration programme, we’re seeing a growing number of businesses investing in the area.
