Tim Devine, Managing Director, Public Sector and Education, is presenting at The Future of Local Government 2021 hosted by the Institute of Government & Public Policy (IGPP).
The three day online event will run from 17 – 19 March 2021, and will explore how the future looks for local Government organisations, and the impact of these challenging times. It will cover key topics such as funding, sustainability, leadership and operational models, with an audience from across the public sector and academia.
Robert Jenrick, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will present a special keynote speech on day one, and specialist speakers from across the UK will consider a wide range of issues.
Tim’s session will cover how insurance and risk management can aid local Government strategy. He will be sharing his insight on the role that insurance has to play, and the risks faced by local Government when developing alternative structures.
Tim is a member of the IGPP Corporate Advisory Board, and Gallagher works in partnership with the IGPP to facilitate the sharing of specialist knowledge between the public and private sectors to positively influence and effectively inform policy.
