The awards will be held on Thursday 25 November 2021 at The Orangery, Turkey Mill in Maidstone. The ceremony will feature nine categories and celebrate the achievements of volunteers, fundraisers and people with visual impairment.

KAB works with over 12,500 people in Kent and the surrounding areas, and is one of the largest sight loss charities in the UK. They aim to prevent avoidable sight loss and work with communities and businesses to raise awareness of eye health. They provide a range of support services including rehabilitation, equipment and social clubs, and their work enables many people to live independently.
KAB was awarded £5,000 in January 2021 by Gallagher, through its ‘Making a Difference’ scheme - a nationwide initiative which invites colleagues from across its UK office network to nominate charities to receive vital funding for projects.. The donation was used towards the purchase of a new mobile resource unit to enable KAB to provide more outreach services in the community.
