Spencer Whitson is a Consultant with Gallagher's Human Resources and Compensation Consulting practice. He brings more than 10 years of compensation experience, including three years as a consultant.
Spencer conducts a wide range of executive and staff compensation projects within a variety of market segments, with a particular focus on healthcare, not-for-profits and financial organizations. He has experience working as an internal compensation expert for a major food manufacturer as well as experience working at a niche tech company doing a variety of compensation exercises to drive impactful decision making.
Spencer has experience in analyzing internal equity, pay equity and transparency, and market competitiveness, providing recommendations and cost projections based on the financial resources of a client and the current market conditions.
Spencer takes pride in offering exceptional customer service and the agility to work quickly and effectively in challenging environments. He is a strategic partner and strives for finding unique solutions to complicated challenges.
Additionally, Spencer has conducted custom surveys including compensation, benefits, total rewards, and CEO performance reviews. Spencer has experience working with international compensation, sales incentives, equity and profit sharing programs.
Spencer received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University and his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from DePaul University.
